Description
So, I've been coloring
This is my new character, Xerxes (zerck-sees). He's like a big cat/dragon/mythical sky creature...thing...dunno how I thought of him, but this is the first time a colored version has been dished out.
So, this guy is pretty cool, I think. At night, his colors completely change. See the colors of his bands-the black and silver? Well, at night, Xerxes takes on those colors. His body is black and his mane is silver (other colors just stay the same). ALSO! Xerxes is very much associated with the constellations of the zodiac. At night, the constellations are present within his black fur. I thought the idea was pretty cool
I will make a nighttime version of him soon

I think I remember helping you name this guy... I don't know if you drew him first, or if I told you about the name...
I just remember being fascinated with the spelling... Xerxes is the god-king from the movie 300, and when I watched the credits, that's how they spelled it.
Either way, he's a wicked awesome character. =]

if people use my drawing for REFERENCE it's fine, but to completely copy someone's work is another thing. You should find your own style and forget about my style and Angie's style because then the 'style' that you've adopted isn't original at all.
i won't have a problem as long as my style isn't seen in your work. just make your own so you can have individual art that's not like everyone elses.

the nightime version sounds awesome. make it a side view of the body and such though. i cant wait to see that one. he is really cool looking and i love the colors! ^^
