Another stunning piece. What colours, what symmetry, what imagination, what symbolism.

i am big into science. I am designing a roleplaying world were the monsters are based on science and evolutionary adaptations. So tool use instead of breathing fire kind of stuff.

A technical question: how do you paint with watercolours on Bristol without it warping?

in my experience it always warps...the way i get it presentable after it dries completely is to bend/manipulate the surface and then flatten it in a weighted book. i imagine it would be even better if you had access to a press.

Hmmm, there's a printmaking studio at school. I'd have to ask the technician for permission/help first.

I love the earthy, ravenous plant-ness here You always create so much detail and life to your strange and mysterious work. But the owl? I love owls. he's not caught yet

I LOVE the textures!!! Of course we all know that thing could not possibly take on the tallons of the owl could it....it doesn't by chance shoot out pellets like the owl ...does it!!

Iris, cuttlefish, Venus flytrap. I wish I could think of combinations like that. This is gorgeous.
