Bizzarre! The flying turtles are wicked (I'm sure there was a Joecartoon sketch with a flock of sky turtles) and it's brilliant how you've made the tadpoles disappear into the spots on the flower. And the face is even more photo-realistic than usual. I'm going to check weather reports for turtles very carefully from now on if I ever go skydiving... owchie.

i just adore the way you let the animals infuse with the rest of this piece; the way the tadpoles go into the flower and form its design and the way the turtles look merely like painted clouds. to me, you've portrayed a union between life. still life and animal life. but all of it is life. and us, at the core of creation; we have been left the duty of taking care of it all.

yeah, that's just the model, in this case...the corner of her lip sometimes curls up just before she is going to smile. or when she's disgusted. i had the smile in mind for this piece.

i think that the artist ment to render the mouth in such a manner....its portraying a mood or feeling that I can't quite put my finger on
