Fantastic animatic, you have a very well developed skill of interweaving narrative within animation. you are an inspiration to me and although i would love to collaborate, i will be starting uni again soon and should have enough animating on my plate. i wish the very best of luck to you and will look forward to seeing this progress.

Oh snap! I'm curious! On a side note, you should make mention if there is or isn't sound. I think you don't usually, but if it does get fully fleshed then it would be nice to know, just in case my sound is blasted

whoa this is pretty long, but your animation so far and the BGs are beautiful! are you planning on having voice overs and music in the finished product? I originally started watching you for your animations, so I am very pleased to see more. I too am an animator (at least for myself) and while I'm sorta busy at the immediate moment, I usually have a lot of spare time and would love to collaborate in a larger project such as this one. I have an animation folder in my gallery.

I don't plan on completing this episode any further. I want to keep building on the story, possibly doing more episodes in the quick style (maybe 10% more cleaned up ...) But if you are interested in collaboration .. I'll make a note and keep you updated when I work out what I'm doing next ... I saw your animations in your gallery and they looked great!
The idea for the story ... I've been working on this story for a long time ... since high school ... I first got the idea when I saw a discovery channel special on human evolution. At one time, there were only as many humans as there are chimpanzees today! (and they're going extinct!)

Ah I see. I've been looking for someone else or a group to collaborate on something that is brought to completeness, something that could be put into shows and submitted for awards and stuff like that. I can tell from what I've seen that there's a much larger story here, but it would be really cool to see this stuff all the way finished! But I get it, there's a certain thrill of getting your story down quickly but still be understood by the viewer without having to go through the trouble of making everything perfect. Let me know if you need help on it in the future.
As for your first question, well I can definitely tell you're a fan of Japanese animation, not just the art style, but the style of the story telling. So it may not be too long for some people, I'm just a little impatient I guess. it's a culture thing.

I just wrote a long post about my thoughts and plans, in case you want to see: HERE .
So, I think I'd like to do two things: !. Work on making a webseries of the Kanook story and 2. Make a short film to submit to film festivals. I would love to get your help on either or both of these fronts. I'll keep you up updated as I get organized. Collaboration is the way forward!
