I love the fact that you obviously didn't fashion Tom after any known actor. This gorgeous artwork of yours completely captures his personality—dark, mysterious, seductive, fallen, dangerous, with mountains of secrets hidden in his eyes—and I didn't even know he could look this way. That excerpt from the fic struck me, too, and I'm glad that the quote served as inspiration for the artwork. Simply stunning!

You did art of Tom Riddle and the quote you used was about a bad rotting apple...but theres no apple in the artwork
It would have been nice if you had drawn an apple rotting in Tom's hand, it would have really fit his character!

Thank you for the kind words.
The author of 'Framed & Fractured' is a friend of mine, she gave me input on how she wanted Tom to look. I didn't want to make him look like anyone that already existed, I deliberately made him look more like how the author and I imagined him, so it was good fun creating this new romanticized dark version of Riddle.
The snippet about the apple is a direct quote from the author's story, so it was less about describing the picture and more describing Tom Riddle - a small window into how the author has profiled him.
I hope to do more fanart for Tom, so thank you for the support, I appreciate it.

Well you did say the author of Framed and Fractured is what inspired you, so I do have a question then. What did your friend say to you? Your friend who wrote Framed and Fractured, what did she say to you to inspire this artwork you did?
Because you said she gave you "input" on how she wanted Tom Riddle to look and you didn't say what her input was.
Now I don't want to be nosy, but I'm just really curious about her input in this.
What exactly did she tell you on how she wanted Tom to look in the artwork?

Hmmm, I didn't need that much inspiration from her directly since the author and I had very similar tastes, also I'm very used to drawing male portraits.
We both came up with focus words: Dark, Romantic, Villain, Tragedy, Princeling, Fallen, Seductive etc.
Her story was the main source of inspiration so I just had to read that. She didn't have to say much.

Those aren't just words! I see all of that when I look at the portrait you did.
You really captured every word you described. That's why Tom looks so incredible in the portrait!
Yes you're also right, you really do alot of male portraits (some of them are also in my favorites) you're so good at doing male portraits, and because you do so many male portraits, like you said you're used to them, so this art piece probably isn't as much of a big deal for you as it is for me.
I guess I shouldn't be this amazed that you did a portrait of Tom Riddle so well. You're an amazing artist.
