commission for my best friend georgieedit!!!!!: major improvements made, georgie took a photo of this and it came out better than the eaten scanned version so i edited that and put it up here.... ssooooo much better now! although still not as good as the original
first ever colour realism piece, and look! it's finished, yey!
does anyone remember this lol i started it back in November last year i think, and i just remembered yesterday i hadn't finished it and i actually had some free time for a change!
- time taken: about 6 hours i think overall
- tools: faber-castell colouring pencils ... and my hand! edited in photoshop cs2 after being eaten by my scanner.
- size: bit smaller than A4, can't be bothered to measure it, i don't own a ruler XD

I love the intensity of the color in your drawing. Did photoshop help with the saturation?

yeah i lost a lot of the colour when putting it on the computer so put up the contrast a bit

beautiful lines for the fur, amazing detail with the eyes and the dark parts around them, a detailed nose, and a realistic toungue and gums. this is the the level of art i hope i can reach with another 5 years under my belt. thanks for putting it up.

What amaze me the most is that you've used colored pencils.
Colored pencils is what i use to color my works and none of them looks as what you've done.
This is just really beautiful and the eyes is great^^

yup i thought i'd try them out in realism for once ... would really like to try this again sooon
lol i had to play around with the colour levels a bit to get it looking more like the original drawing, lost soo much detail and colour through scanning.

I love using colored pencils, some people think that it's just for kid.
But i've seen some amazing artwork done with it as well as yours.
It happened to me also when i scan my drawing>_<
