I just keep staring at it. So pleasing! I love how you create so much depth with simple brush strokes.
And the color choices are just perfect.
Did you go to art school?

I gotta try that some day.
Ironically, I cant take time to learn how to improve my skills because it would cut into my of making art.

Wow! this is really amazing! So beautiful! Make me think of one of my all time favorite artists Roger Dean!
i think it's in the Lake Zephyr region of the Elysian Plateau. The source of all fresh water on the planet and an ancient and mysterious sacred sight. Perhaps the lake is a crater left by the gravity mirror asteroid from ancient times. A place of much floating materiel.

yes i thought of him to, and of Eyvind Earle, they have a quite interesting style both that seamed somehow mixable for me ^^.

Yeah I had never seen Earle but they totally mix.
Yeah, The Icy Lake Zephyr, You could do a lot in that region if you want.
Rodinia needs a winter wonderland.

He's already ruined winter on this planet.

I think she gonna be the goddess of electromagnetic fields.
Don't some kind of magnets work in supercooled conditions?
I think she maintains the hovering towers.
I'll be honest, I was already working on her, but I think she'll fit the story nicely.

LaughtonMcCry In reply to ThePlanetRodinia [2011-12-19 08:05:11 +0000 UTC]
yes, its how they explain the hovering mountains in Avatar. there is supposed to be some superconductor metal in it. there are such substances that are superconductive? in warmer conditions...

Dang, I forgot it was in Avatar, oh well, it's still cool.
