The colors are so vivid and alive that the composition reminds me of the simplicity and joy of being a girl on the verge of puberty, innocent yet unsure...(her expression spells that by the way!)

Usually yellow burns at my eyes if there's too much of it, but it works pretty well with this piece. Love the expression on the girl's face. Makes you wonder why she seems so frightened, especially if there are innocent butterflies there as well. Hmmm, makes one think. Anyway, beautiful work. Watercolors and inks are hard mediums to use sometimes, depending on what you're doing with them. But it's very well done so good for you!

Lol, I just dislike bright shades of yellow. If they're more toned down and not burning my eyes out of my socket, then it's all good with me. But if your intention was to blind everyone and take over the world, then you're doing a great job!
