Oh my gosh I LOVE THIS. If I had $ I would buy an original (if it were traditional art of course ahha ^^) and hang it on a wall!!

I love this style! It really looks like traditional art, just scanned in, or photographed...
The ghostly white birds are a lovely touch, but my favourite part is the chrysanthemum to their right. Lovely!

I'm afraid to say it was a piece of artwork i scanned in! which i ten took inot photoshop and messaed around with textures and layers and all sorts! I never know which category to use though!! Oh well...

Heh, I know...it's so hard to decide where to put artwork that fits in two or more categories (I've already had five or six deviations "relocated" by admins 
This piece actually seems even more impressive to me for some reason, knowing that you used a physical medium first. (I have a difficult time with any sort of traditional art

It's beautiful and your choice and application of textures is lovely (though i don't know much about them, being the traditional art hag that i am /lol/).
Wonderful birds and background. The tree is pretty in it's twisted way, and the use of such colors give the piece a warm glow.

I know what you mean. Comments which specify what sparked the viewer's interest are very encouraging. As well as those that recommend interesting techniques or appliable ideas.

I like that it doesn't look as if you've used the textures arbitrarily... It really caught my eye, sort of looking at what you've used where... I love your color choices, and I really like the twist of the tree. The contrast with the birds is interesting, too.

This is very nice, but I think the halo around the white birds may be a little overdone... but that could just be me. I really do like the piece a lot otherwise
