gosh, i just adore this picture so much. it's so elegant, but then those angles add something different to it. i don't know. it's like eating a salad with cranberries and feta cheese. so yummy!
and, i agree with everyone who has already said this, but the simplicity creates this image.

That is really beautiful. It's simplistic and the choice in watercolor is just beautiful. I've never seen Wicked before but I think this depicts the character at times (I've only seen the part where she's pouting, I think and the Good witch comes to comfort her or something. >>

I love it! Especially how the dress just kindof fades off with the splatter, and doesn't have a defined ending. It has that mysterious and yet strong headed edge that Elphaba carries in the book! Very nice use of all of the different colors!
