Just realized that an awfull lot of anime guys have really light hair o_o Orange, blonde, or silver... hardly ever see a guy with black hair lead an anime, weird since anime is Japanese

Maybe leads/heros are usually some sort of outcast and to make him stand apart, he has brighter hair than everyone else? I guess it depends on if it's a fantasy or high school series too. I like to think it's for some sort of diversity in the character designs. XD
