Description
Another preview of my UserTile project. This shows what the extended information dialog will look like.The framework isn't complete so I'm hardcoding the recent activity but it gives a good idea as to where I'm heading with it.

I've been waiting this app for long time ago, I would like to know if you are still thinking to release it. i was using the previous version even in windows 8, 'cause i like it.

sweet, but i noticed on the picture the usertile is overlaying ontop of the date...

In that image it is but I eventually fixed it and the program available runs beside the time display without any overlap.

im glad, seems well worked out, should expect it with no bug's. what kind of frameworks do you use if i might ask? for extending it to facebook and twitter.

Very soon. I'm about halfway through getting Facebook finished. After that, I'll release the alpha so that everyone can have a try. I'm hoping that'll be by the end of the weekend at the latest.

I would love something like this in windows 8, It would be awesome if it had some type of notification system to let you know when somebody comments on a post of a forum that you have selected or when a new post is added a blog

Forums and blogs would be a neat idea but it's a case of how large is the userbase to justify adding it and do they have a documented API I can use to pull the information? I really want to stay away from having to manually scrape a website for that information.

A good idea would be to make it be able to add rss feeds.

RSS feeds don't really fit in with this idea. I really want to keep this idea of the user's interaction with others on the internet. The idea is to compile all those online activities that combine to form the user's online identity into one window. RSS feeds really aren't interactive and don't reflect a user's identity on the internet. They are simply information streams.
