Description
My first tutorialPlease tell me someone else thought it looked like hamster poop too. Amirite?
NOTE: Mix the two colors in step 5. White is too white and translucent turns out like old dried-up rice :]

I finally managed to get some Fimo polymer clay and some clay softener today. But what I forgot to get was some liquid clay.....is there any substitute for this?

please do one for your sushi rolls! they look like you make and cut canes, but they're not as densely packed as others that I've seen

brilliant tutorial! I've always assumed that people made LOADS of little rice pieces and compacted them together to form the rice base (just like the real thing). Never would have thought of making a solid white base then simply covering it with (not as many) rice pieces Very clever, will definitely give this a shot

i've always had trouble trying to paint clay white. some people dilute acrylic paint with water and just dip and dry several layers, but that takes forever i think the rice looks better with some translucency.

mix the two colors in that ratio then make it into the rice.
