You ever get that feeling of wanting to be better in some way, but feel frozen by mental habits of your own creation? As if there's a false sense of comfort in that bubble of familiarity.

Perhaps it's human nature to seek out our flaws better than we do our strengths. Either way, the challenge remains in nurturing the part of us that feels unworthy of love in those moments. We all are. You are.

Well, the concept of that internal experience came to me in the shape of a fairy fossilized in amber.

I hope she finds her way out one day, as we all must 💛
