...for those who have seen the film, "Charlotte's Web"... the red barn was behind me..Greendale, winter morning, early light... a delightful local spot.. and screaming out for some-one to model on site or in the barn itself... but only for the brave who can endure cold climates...

I've not seen the film, but being an ex-country guy myself I can appreciate the beauty of it all. How long did you have to wait for this shot? Take many of it to 'bracket' it?

I was really down there to photograph the landowner in front of the barn ..sort of "American Gothic".. and just turned around to see this ..3 shots, all metered off the sky.. and the light seemed just right in this one, then the sun went a little higher and the mood lessened.. fortuitous, really.

put your hands over a 580EX speedlight and fire it a few times. set another one to slave mode and stuff it down the front of your britches. you'll warm up.
