Description
At the end of the last century, I published a comic book series called Lazarus: The Many Reincarnations through my company, Lodestone Publishing. It ran for 7 issues, but it was too much work for one person to handle, so ultimately it ended before its time.This is the cover of the third issue of the series. Originally it was colored by Philip Clark, but I later remastered it. It's still not at a level that I like, but one day maybe I'll redo it with my current skills. This book was released some time in 2000, I believe.

Well, I was foolish enough to go full color, so it takes 3x the amount of sales to really make the book worthwhile. I should have stayed black and white and I think I would have done much better. As it was, I was lucky to break even, then toss in the costs of ads, conventions, promotions, etc., and after all that there was no hope of getting paid for all the work.

Why not try kicking it up again? Go in black and white and continue, I'm sure if you broke even with the colored, you could easily come out with profit and a seemingly good book.

It's a huge investment of time, and with bills the way they are, I would need an income I could rely on. If I didn't have to worry about bills, I'd do it in a second. I didn't have a family when I did it the first time.

They make great gifts, so get a few! While supplies last! Actually, I don't make a cent, so it doesn't matter as far as that goes, I just want as many people to see them as possible.
