Following the annihilation of the Word of Blake, and serving as the finale to the non-stop orgy of violence that had consumed the Inner Sphere thus far, a new state was built to maintain the peace that had been so long promised but never delivered; the Republic of the Sphere.
The wounds that had been inflicted upon the Inner Sphere would begin to heal over the next 50 or so years, with little combat of note in the meantime. While wars would begin again, that is a tale for another time...
