Description

Beneath the Central Disposal Unit, some "Thing" has taken up residence. A massive blockage of flesh that has congealed into a single, massive Amalgamate. How it formed is a mystery, but it managed to stop the Disposal machines from running by burrowing through the walls and gumming up the moving parts.

Now that it has no threats, the Thing is slowly spreading outwards, consuming more and more of the Prison. Fed by the bio-mass constantly dumped into the Disposal Shaft, the Thing grows steadily larger.

A giant human face seems to be the core of the Thing, and presumably is where the accumulated gray-matter is concentrated. The Thing possesses an extremely powerful Psi field, capable of destroying the minds of any who wander too close.

To defend itself, the Thing can generate either powerful tendrils of muscle tissue to smash, crush, or drag down any hapless prey, or these tendrils can sever themselves on the catwalks to deposit instances of Parasitic Flesh to attack any threats to itself.

The Thing is the largest known Amalgamate, and the danger it would pose should it get access to the vast accumulations of bio-mass throughout the Prison can hardly be imagined...
