Description

Initial designs were laid down in 2128, and it wasn't until 2129 that the first ship was finished. Possessing a Sub-light drive, allowing for the Falcon to reach Mars from Earth in little over two months, the Falcon started life as a transport. However, once larger vessels allowed for more efficient transit, the Falcon was updated and adopted as a policing craft.

Armed with a single bow-mounted Rail Cannon, 2x Ventral Rail Cannon Turrets, 3x Bow mounted Autocannon Turrets, and 6x dorsal Missile launchers, and then a by now out of date combat shield, the Falcon was produced in numbers to fill out the UES's need. With about 200 built, many have been modified to fill out other roles, and with the engine retrofitted. Only 40 remain in UES service by 2201, mostly relegated to patrolling and escorts.

The 131st Falcon-class built, the UES Ryuho features a restructured interior, allowing it to carry more troops, but at the cost of crew efficiency. Under the Command of MAJ. P. Narvaez for 12 years, the Ryuho has been fired upon in many conflicts, even managing to disable 5 other ships on it's own.

Unfortunately, the venerable ship's decorated history came to an end in 2206, during the ill-fated Triton Relief Expedition, where errant satellite garbage crashed into the the vessel's starboard side, causing severe damage and the loss of proper orbital functionality. The Ryuho couldn't muster enough power to stop it's sub-light drive, and crashed into Triton's surface.

There the Ryuho would remain, in an unsalvageable state, with none daring enough to risk the Megarachnid to loot the wreck.
