Kinda surprised one of my over 5 year old drawings gets featured though...

It's good to know there are still some fans of this show! I used to love watching it!
As for the picture, I think it's great! The colors are nice and bright and the way they are interacting in the picture suits their personalities well. I love it!

I remember watching the show everyday. I still have both the GBC game and the GBA game and play them on my Game Boy Advance sometimes.

Really people? how can you not get why this is a DD? the coloring is great, the positions reflect the characters, and the motion is incredible! i think it is a well-deserved DD.

I have to disagree, I myself think it's not worthy. I compared it to the other DDs that day and it was just.. nah.
But I guess some people like it anyway.

The coloring is mediocre. It lacks any form of technique or study. The general idea of using color pencils is to not show the strokes of each individual line, unless it was completely intended by the artist and was done so purposefully instead of due to lack of practice. Even so, it's nothing remarkable.
And I'm not sure what you mean by "the positions reflect the characters." I assume you mean their poses. Even their gestures are very vague and don't say much about their personality, seeing as how they're all in general enthusiastic poses. The only thing I get from their poses is that they're hamsters and they're all happy. That's it. Nothing individual.
I'm not sure what you mean by "the motion is incredible," either. Again, I assume you mean their poses. That, or the general movement of the picture itself. All the characters are cluttered together, all moving in different directions and are spaced out strangely, to me. From that, any motion that was potentially there was lost in the haphazard placement of all the characters.
It is a very cute picture, yes, and I know this is a very old picture, but hardly worth a DD, in my opinion. I'm not insulting the artist, I'm sure they think this is old, too, and that they've gotten much better, and I would be inclined to agree. But this picture, in general, is fairly ordinary.

Well, yes, but from what I can see in the coloring, it sort of lacks technique and study. I know this is an old deviation, but the coloring isn't anything remarkable from what I can see. I'm not saying it's not good, but it's nothing to behold, either.
