Description
A quick draw of 2 Australian or New Zealand SAS commandos.The soldier on the left carried a modified L1A1 or L2A1 with full automatic function and modified 30-round magazine and mounted with an XM148 grenade launcher.
It is hard to stably fire 7.62x51mm assault rifle in full automatic because of high recoil, so M16 replaced M14 during Vietnam War but it was heard that Australians loved the stopping power of 7.62x51mm rounds.
The right one was equipped with a suppressed Sterling SMG (rare in SASR as they didn't like mag on side, that was not balanced) mounted with an XM148 grenade launcher.
Both weapons and operators were fearsome.

My God, I'm so glad someone else knows about the XM148! The only grenade launcher with three triggers. One on the pistol grip itself, one on the magazine of the host weapon, and one near the pistol grip of the host weapon like the SCAR EGLM. In my opinion, probably a better choice than the m203.

I heard it was because of the reliability of XM148.
I liked China Lake GL most.
