I still haven't got around to watching Ergo Proxy yet. Saw the first ep a looong while back and was just largely confused
Really dig the style though, I'll get around to it one day.

Damn those pencil colourings are looking more awesome everytime I see them, you should be using them more often than CG (which I might add, you suck at XD ). What's your choice of pencils?

could be the colours, but the head and body seem to be different and seperate entities...
otherwise awesome, especially the shadow/makup work around those eyes and nose.

maybe it's cos the head has such three-dimensionallity, whilst the body is flat in comparison? dunno. i have trouble with getting the two to 'click' even on a straight shot, rather than the dynamic shiz-nit you're pulling here.

I think if you could see the neck it would be in a really bizarre awkward position. The two elements of the pic just aren't anatomically aligned good

That is DAMN awesome, dude!
The show is pretty disorienting at first, but it clears up pretty quickly after the first few episodes and hits its stride mid season. Then it gets muddied up a bit again towards the end, but at least it picks up again for the (awesome) finale.
Now I wanna do some art. If only I could find the time, to hell with this measly 24 hour day cycle.

I'm thinking of checking out Ergo once I'm done with Black Lagoon. Which you were right about by the way... rock out. I was a bit unsure for the first four eps or so, action was all sweet but it felt a little empty or sumthin. It's really picked up since then though. Think I'm up to 15 or so. The vampire children story was all kinds of messed up, but really well handled.

Glad to see you're diggin' it. The final story arc (goes for about 6 episodes) is fantastic, too.
By the way, the English dub is far, far superior to the Japanese VA. They only just released the first few Volumes locally though (and they're pretty pricey), but it's definately worth checking out if you find you're a fan of the show.
It's wierd, Ergo and Black Lagoon are completely different to each other, but I honestly can't say I like one more than the other.

Finished it last night. Felt a little left in the dark, didn't seem like much of a conclusion to anything, but maybe that is just a season 3 ploy. Tell me, did Revy kill Eda? And if not, what the hell was the point of that outro?

Ergo Proxy, great style and art. I watch the first episode a few months back, was really interested in it, but started watching Texhnolyze instead. I'll probably go back to watching Ergo Proxy again, but now I've got Claymore to watch....... so much anime, not enough time

Yeah, Claymore. I've only watched the first episode so far, but I've read a shite load of the manga, so yeah, guess I pretty much know what is going to happen.
Lists are good, especially when there's so much stuff out there to watch.
