i'm really sorry about this... i saw an overcrowded market of unecessarily evocative shiva fanart and said 'me too!'.i really meant to do something really clever and funny with this pic but it's ended up just like any other ff fanboy's shiva wetdream fanart. very disturbing.
oh well, it was fun to do... i was intending to experiment with some colouring techniques to get some funky ice effects happening. in the end i didn't bother... just stuck to the old faithful method. as a result this doesn't look much different from anything else i've done. i might revisit this down the track a little and apply the things i had envisioned. but for now, balls to it.

Hey! You could start your own FF comic book with those kind of skillz. No critique I can think of, except that you should not apologize for doing a peice of work. If anything, your Shiva peice was much much better than other works I've seen...and I like the little ice cream cone in her hand...makes it unique and fresh. Great job, don't feel bad for giving use great peices to look at.

Actually I've been planning to do a FF fan comic for a while now... something based around Shiva and Ifrit I think. I'll do it someday

Well... then... :cough: Pardon me while I fangirl and love this to death. Shiva kicks ass. Especially the FFX rendition. I think it's the dreadlocks that get me. Kickass job, and I would be a moron to not

Quite welcome. Shiva's always been one of my favorite Summons, and I love the way ya drew her. Did her a good bit of justice (and the icecream cone is a great touch!).

I love the lines on this, the inclusion of an icecreamcone was classic too. I told you shiva was the best aeon! She just looks cool! I like the colouring too, it suits her well. Her head is a hell of a lot more in proportion than usual too, which is really good!

when i was drawing the pic i ended up drawing the head way too small, which of course in the end, ended up being just the right size.

Abayha Mundra... You've done a remarkable job on the lines of this one, paying excellent attention to the kinetics of things you put on your head w/ weights attached... The colour job is simple but very effective, and doesn't seem to be lacking in any way. The limited palette works great, and the ice cream just screams 'I am become death, shatterer of worlds'! I like it a lot.

yes i agree the colouring doesn't look much different when compared to your other works but at least you save alot of time in cging in comparison to mine!

yeah, my express cg technique is starting to get a little boring methinks. i might have a rummage through a few tutorials and see if i can pick up some pointers.

i think it's because you'd expect something more like a soft serve icecream. one that isn't a scoop but comes out from the machine instead. you could've had a flake or hundreds & thousands n top of it
