Description
~Download for full view~Me and Versa have just shifted into werewolves (notice the shredded clothing) and I'm now having her listen to a song I like on my Ipod while on a foggy hill in Costa Rica. Random? Yeah!
I like Versa a lot and wanted to draw her, so I hope I did okay.
I guess Versa already has a boyfriend, but I thought it would be cool to draw us together anyway! Also, I guess she can only change into a werewolf during the full moon (and this is a day shot), but hey.
I know there are several problems, but feel free to point them out so I can improve!
Pencil/pen lineart, colored in Fireworks, photo taken Oct 2006 (the trees in the background are actually right where [link] was taken), I did this over several days.

I like how you make up the fur, and the expressions are great! ^^ Nice job! :3

I agree with Outward on his critique. Versa does look like she is about to fall over. Hands are hard to do. Try blocking them out and drawing a few "studies".
Good job though, you have an interesting way of doing fur. It looks almost like it was hand drawn in colored pencil.
Just because you like realism, try to look for clothing tutorials.
Overall, 8/10. Great job.

I hated the hands (always have in general). I hated the clothes, too; I really threw them in last minute when I was late for work or something...
That's how the fur looks? Good! I was hoping it would look okay!
One question: since you're LDS, do you think Celestial's "guy parts" are too noticeable? I am embarrassed to even ask, but I've been wanting to know so I can change it if necessary...

I also hate doing hands. I go threw about twenty drafts before I come close to looking semi good.
About his "guy parts", that's the main reason I like to put shorts or shredded pants on mine (and a shirt if a girl). I would say that it's getting close, but as long as you don't show the testes or make it the center of attention I would call this one alright. Personally if you covered it up I would feel better, but your not "bad" yet. Having worked with dogs, as long as you do what I said about how to keep it clean, I think the fur acts as clothing from that point on.
Also, could you tone down Versa's "girl parts" just a bit. THANK YOU for having her arm cover it.

Hmmm. I didn't know Versa was distracting, too... Man I need to learn how to draw. There are a lot of artists that pull it off well; no clothes or anything, but everything is "decent." Add that to the already long list of things to improve on. *sigh*

I hope everything works out. Nobody starts out good at everything. Thanks for asking about it, most artists ether are too timid to ask or don't care about their viewers.

I like this alot! I think though that everyone else pretty much pointed out what could use a lil more attention, but seriously this is a great piece

oooh, t hat's very sweet, and I like the effect that's created by how this was drawn out.
I'm not one to get on people's anatomy, but for some reason I do more so about pose Overall the pose is very great and works well with the anatomy, except that It seems Versa would be slightly unbalanced while standing.

Awww, this is a terribly sweet gift! As weird as it is to say, it's great to see Versa in another interpretation, one that isn't so snarly and murderous. It's believable!
LOVE the anatomy, and though I agree with ~outward in that a few things are off, overall I'm really impressed (and flattered you wanted to draw Versa for me ).
What a great gift, thanks!

Awesome (and adorable)!
You said you're looking for advanced critique, soooo:
I'd say the upperhalf of your werewolves look spectacular! Especially the torso and abdominal area. Likewise, you express an excellent penchant for the arm's muscular structure. My only grief would be the hands -- but heck, I can't even draw those half the time
The legs, on the other hand, are a little strange. Werewolf legs tend to be a personal and artistic choice in regards to their angle and how far they are bent (crouched versus standing look.) BUT, Versa looks a little like she's going to fall over! Lazy's stance looks verily feasible, on the other hand. Also, it's hard to describe, but the 'connections' between the different leg joints look odd -- as in, the knee and ankle area. This gets me a lot, too. Try looking at some photos of human legs and drawing those to get a handle on how the thighs, calves, and feet connect. Aside from that, once again, you show an excellent mind for understanding details, which show through on the muscular structures you've designed on the thighs. : )
I really think you're a talented artist with a lot of potential -- so please don't take my critique with any level of harshness. I can't wait to see more!!

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! Yeah, I know the hands aren't very good, but I tried... I need to take more reference photos before I start next time.
The legs look that bad, eh? Hmmm, thanks for pointing that out! I guess I will need to study those a little more...
Thanks for all the compliments, too! <--(blushing)
