The ship is stil work in progress. Especially the engine section, the missilebays and the underside will need some more love

I personally think you've done a great job on this mate. I like the Nova/Omega inspired elements but it's also rather original as well. I also like the blend of Warlock style elements as well like the side missile launchers and engine section. I think it's a great ship for the era and mixes tried and true tech and design with newer stuff as well.Β
A win all round mate. I hope you texture this beauty as she'll look great in a fleet shop with the rest of your models.

The ship is a good example for the beginning of the new era of Earth Force ships. The Apollo has both, elements of the new era - like the armorplates, and a lot of elements of the old era, like the turrets, the front that is very similar to the Omega/Nova but you can also see how "firepower" evolves in the new era.
The Apollo has much more turrets and weapons then other EA ships of its size. I think it could deal with an Omega, or at least with a Nova.
Some for the Warlock - the ship hus MUCH more firepower then the Omega or ships from the other races.
Thats why i like the Apollo. ItΒ΄s a good link between the old and the new era of ships.

It's quite a ship I also like the blend of old and new. I always loved the industrial look of Earthforce ships, totally different to the other races who all use flowing lines of one sort or another. However Earthforce ships are built for one thing and it shows in their construction and the Apollo is no exception.

I have no plans ending my work
Well, i would like to texture them, but my skills in creating texture are not the best ones.
From time to time i try making textures and for the Babylon 5 ships i have a small set of texture that should be enough for some renders
