Leiji Matsumoto style = again, self-explanatory

Okay, final installment of my "Regular Show Leiji" series. Muscleman, High Five Ghost, Margaret and Eileen.

Muscleman - He was actually the easiest to draw, and honestly, the most fun. Mr. Matsumoto's style normally has a couple characters in the diminutive form, and I figured Muscleman would be that one, but without the dots for eyes. I didn't really have to worry about making him look "pretty" like I did Rigby and Mordecai. One big circle for his gut and a buncha others for the rest of him. Since almost everytime I watch the show the guy's twirling his shirt in the air and showing off his moobs that's what I went with. And to make it complete, I have him rocking out to, who else, but Journey's "Any Way You Want It" (what I was listening to as I drew this).

High Five Ghost - THIS one was a tad challenging. By some unwritten rule in anime/manga, you MUST have at least ONE guy to call "bishounen" (pretty boy for those who don't know). Since HFG's design wasn't specific, I took it as free game I drew him in original form to get a bishie visual....and as you can see my ADD kicked in until I decided on his Leiji form. You take away the hand and he looks like one of the Pacman ghosts, am I wrong? Giving him a bit of halo would add to his ghost aura so I went with it.

Margaret - The idea of her having darker skin than most fans draw her with came from AdrifoftheDead when he/she drew Margaret as African-American. Since my idea was a Captain Harlock space opera, I really liked the idea of Mordecai and Margaret having an interracial relationship. Maybe she could be a humanoid alien with special powers or something .

--The biggest challenge was her hair. I didn't want it to look generic, so after looking at a few spiky hair/bedhead references and drawing a few wigs on the side, I came up with the final design and worked the hell out of it until it looked like something Mordecai would faint over . I don't know Margaret's actual eye color, I just went with whatever looked pretty

Eileen - Now EILEEN, she was fun to draw out and she looked the closest to the female Leiji-style. In the space opera idea I had, Ken from "Asleep in a Blizzard" is a villian kinda like Darth Vader meets that alien king from Voltron and Eileen is his top henchwoman. Like spy and kick-ass ASSASSIN. She and Rigby had a relationship but something went REALLY wrong and when she raids the Regular Crew's spaceship and sees him, she tries to kill him. Rigby fights back so it's all good n' kinda funny . They fight like a married couple while trying to kill each other, and Rigby finds that kinda hot & .

--Eileen's ice cold eyes came out AWESOME, man! I'm proud! I still see her as really sweet and QUITE nerdy, but throw in a little bitterness and some assassin training and it makes for a good fan-makeover
