I drew this character in my bullet journal and decided to paint it as a little gift for myself.Really happy with the braids. I hope I can make more of these portraits every month. ;-;

I always love the black and green hair combinations. And I think braids and twists can be pretty hard to draw since they’re so hard to simplify sometimes ; v ;

Yes! It's one my favorite color combinations! It just works well!
I know that feel ;-; - I redrew the hair 2 times, and several pieces got adjusted more times along the way. But I've found that sketching the braids out like spaghetti tubes first helps a lot to get the shape anddirection right later.
