Description
A Study in Paper No. 5: Sherlock & JohnThey're cut as nested silhouettes from the same bit of paper.
Sherlock is just over 6.5" high.

I'm pretty much self-taught. I never intended to get into this kind of paper-cutting, but making my first simple one resulted in ideas for more, and before I knew it I was enjoying myself too much to stop. I got the idea for this design when a friend gave me some heavier paper, which led me to think about what I could do with designs that could stand upright. (Some of my other recent 3-D cuttings use cardstock, which is even heavier.)
