Description
Midwest Steel & Alloy SW7 #1201 pushes a gondola, passing cars waiting to go to the torch, back into MSA's yard. The crew was kind enough to stop long enough for me to snap this shot. This is my second shot with my new camera.

Gets pretty good colors I'd say. Fairly crisp. Seems to be a good camera to me so far.

I know! I think the oldest car there was from the 60's or 70's.
I'm not sure as to why some of them are being scrapped. I have seen older cars that where worn out and some that where damaged beyond repair, but there are some there that look like they are in pretty good shape.

That's wired, maybe there is something internally wrong with them?

Could be. I know that when scrap was high and traffic was low a lot of railroads purged some stored cars to make some extra cash.
