A little bit of storytelling practice -- I hope to be an expert on delivering a good ass-kicking...It's a simple action, but how many different ways can you portray it? Rather than just drawing and choosing the first pose that pops in my head, I'm finding it useful to make simple rough thumbnails of all the different ways to tell the same story to choose the best one for the situation.
"Draw clearly, not cleanly" -- so line quality may suffer, but the story's gotta read!!!

I love all the funny little writings on it, "Re-entry sucks" XD I remember, I had a book on how to draw comic-book style women, and it was talking about "static" and "dynamic" poses, and showed different ways to draw the same scene or pose, in order to make it the most aesthetically pleasing and entertaining for readers. This reminds me of that, but funnier.

I'm reminded of the days I used to scribble on the desks in school when I was in grade school. Somehow I feel like I'm tapping a forgotten well of childhood creativity when I do these...
