This is for my dear friend Over the weekend I made him a little packet of giftarts for been such a loyal friend. And thanks to him, The Northern Herd exist and Lib has a mate
Anyways, this is just a pick I did of Sol giving Libertad comfort everytime she feels down. I really like how Sol turned out I used no reff; specially on Libertad laying down 
I have a lot of trouble drawing horses in that pose. Anyhow, enjoy

Nice job! Andthats a great sign that your not using any references, it generally means that you have a horses body invisioned within your mind as long as you ho0ld down thew key points to a horses anatomy.
(heh I lived off of references, but eventually your begin to understand art concepts and flow it into motions plus using your own personally style for experiments, haha!)
