I'm not just 'talented.' It took me hours, days, weeks, and years to work hard and come up to the point I am now. And to be honest, I still haven't improved much. I have trouble with legs and faces. I'm still learning how to draw horses 
The best way to start is by learning the right anatomy. Therefore, start with realistic horses--unlike I did. That's why it has taken me over 7 years to learn.

i do sketch realistic and i know draw lightly to where i can fraw a head using 2 circles then map out the desired pose i did 2 like that today
i know i am getting better it has taken me about 3 years but it is coming along
