Description
My latest commission, Smash U Peach, with almost all her weaponry. I was missing the frying pan. She has to keep her supplies somewhere. (According to one of my fics, she keeps the frying pan in her shirt).I used a new pattern for this dress. It is a historical pattern modified to fit Peach's style. The overskirt and underskirt are two separate pieces. The dress is hand embroidered using metallic gold floss.

I am super pleased with how this turned out and the commissioner was thrilled. I look forward to making more smash outfits. Expect more photos. I got some good ones this time.

And it makes her look all the more regal.
I love the weapons. It's so hard to find those barbie tennis rackets nowadays. Jeez, I had a dozen of them as a kid. And the clothes hangers too, ever notice how those are few and far in between now? Golf clubs and baseball bats, where did you ever find those?
You definitely pay attention to game details. Only someone who plays would know about them.
And I really like how she's just walking away, the victor of battle.

The entire thing is hand embroidered. The border on the bottom is harder to see, but it is also embroidered.
I found all the accessories on ebay, except the parasol, as that belonged to my mother when she was a kid. ebay is a glorious place!

Yeah, it's really old. I have a lot of really old things from the 60s and 70s that I whip out every so often for props. That particular one, I believe my grandmother made. I have a newer one in other photos I haven't posted yet.

Really like the result of this one! I agree with the above comment; the shot of her walking away as if the victor is a nice way of presenting her. I really like the attention to detail that you have put into her dress. Great job there.
