LET ME FIRST START BY SAYING the characters original design wasn't made by me, it was VioletDragoness a long ass time ago (it was her character) until she passed her down to vdragoness , and now me and vdragoness co-own her and my oc Convexis ! (they're both the legend of spyro oc's btw)now if any of you know me from my previous accounts, ie. waaaay before this one, I was super duper attached to this character bc I basically joined youtube and DA because of her,, and I had a lot of stuff going on that just made me emotionally dependent- i copied a LOT, it's not a part of my life i'm proud of at all and there's a lot of things I wish i could made right and take back
vdragoness and I had a conversation about it, and we talked about our wrongs on either ends.. It has been ? 9 years I think, and we decided to find a way to make up and set aside the things that have happened and one of those was co-owning characters !
sooo SAY HELLO TO VIOLET !! I want to elaborate on her elements / personality traits but vdragoness would know better ab it than me since she's owned her longer, and this current ref isn't also meant to change the oc completely and her existing haired + necklace design- it's just the one i'm personally more fond of, you can p much draw her with whatever design you please

Both her and Convexis were a huge influence on me way back then, inspired me to create the first design for Crystal ever! She's still basically a recolor of them now that I think about it LMAO, I just haven't realised it until this very moment

Tbh I've been a fan of Violet for ages too. I think it was also some 9 or 10 years ago that I first found her videos on YouTube and then also DA, Violet is definitely a milestone in my history of getting here and I'm really happy to see you draw her older design, I was always quite fond of that one myself. So yeah, this is definitely a huge nostalgia trip for me as well and honestly I'm really happy you and vdragoness are co-owning her now. I'm just generally happy there's people who cares enough to keep the character alive even if the original creator has moved on a long time ago.
