Giant of the Abyss.
Born to oppose Aphrodite, the only female giant and wife of Antiphates the king of the Laestrygonians, being the princess of the giants she possessed strength and ferocity that were feared by her enemies, Periboea is the giant who most hates her mortal enemy the goddess of love , like Aphrodite's curse, she is immune to love. She can only fall in love alone.
Periboea is the only giant that is not a direct son of Gaia. Despite her hatred for the goddess of love, the feeling is not mutual, as Aphrodite's objective is to make the giant more beautiful, which ends up making the princess even more angry since Periboea is proud of her ugliness.
She was finally overpowered, however, by the combined efforts of Heracles and Aphrodite.
