okay so i didn't have much of a story behind this except he's meeting his newborn baby- so tears of happiness, and maybe also bitterness that he isn't fully human and his child will have to deal with the consequences of that. probably also happy his baby didn't come out furry, lol.

but after talking with Sleyf there's now more story.
shortly after giving birth to their firstborn, a little girl they named Willow, Lear is kidnapped by a Warlock, leaving Yianis alone with the baby. he desperately tries to find her, but he isn't able to feed Willow and has to give up and change his search to finding someone who can give his baby milk instead. the goblins, being opportunists, would inform their Queen, who's brother and husband have also been stolen by the Warlock. she promises to care for baby Willow so long as Yianis returns her family to her along with his own wife- and if he fails to do it by the next full moon, the baby is hers forever.
Yianis, having no choice, has to leave his daughter, and so this is the farewell, as if he fails, or dies, he will not see her again.

oh and for those of you new to this concept- he's under a spell so he can remove his skin like a selkie to take human form, so yeah obviously his child was conceived while human.
