ah, Prim, how do you get into these compromising situations? probably should just leave him tied up so he can't cause trouble
to be honest the Priest and the sevant story, i thought it would work out, but I've got no ideas for that either. I want to do something with my naga and centaur story, but i have nothing.
honestly drawing each scale took forever and was an endeavor i pursued as the storms raged outside my house till the wee hours of the morning. we had 16 inches of rain and lots of lightning storms last night. i had to turn the computer off and listen to MST3K on my phone for some kind of noise to comfort me.
i'm trying to not have the pictures i scan look all fuzzy and pale, i want them to stand out a little more on the paper instead of looking washed out.
I will be drawing more of Lear and Asher together, but Asher is good for relaxing me sometimes, and I haven't been feeling up to couple art.

*glances at it thoughtfully* "Maybe if I could get up there and just untie the knots without cutting anything." *glances at him* "Think you'd hold my weight?"

*Moves forward with certain hesitation to reach out and touch the scaly serpent skin with two fingers* "Oh?" *glances down at Asher* "It's pretty smooth. Well I suppose it should be. I won't get a good grip, I'd probably glide off if I tried to climb this." *thoughtfully taps mouth* "I thought perhaps you would've been rougher, like a dragon."

*shivers at the touch* "the smoothness makes for faster movement. but I am looped awkwardly so you might be able to use my coils as a ladder"

"I guess," *lets her fingers linger for a moment while watching the coils* "I guess I can hang on to the rope once I get that far.." *smiles down at him* "Now you're being helpful." She hesitates for another moment, not entirely sure how to go about this. Then shrugs a little and makes an attempt. The ladder could've used some more steps... and it's impossible to do this in a dignified way. She just focuses on not huffing and groaning too loudly while pulling herself up. The rope feels rough under her fingers and she clings to it for dear life. "You do realize how awkward this is, don't you?" *tries not to look at him* She comes to a sudden realization. "Hey," she says. "When I untie this what will happen to me? I'll fall. Why am I doing this again?"
