I think its a fact that Yianis doesn't understand Lear and Zantair and their closeness. he probably still won't to this day. he accepts it, but he doesn't get it.
I feel kinda bad for him in that picture, I imagine he had something he was excited and proud to talk to her about but finds her preoccupied! *face falls* bu-bu-bu-!
in my taur crossover story (I think its safe to call it a fanfiction as its not really a collab) Yianis has had a crush on Lear since she saved his life and pretty much everyone knows it but him and Lear XD much to his frustration as Lear has her heart set on a certain naga known as Asher.

Lol Charles is slowly taking over! Though the secret to being a good butler is to never be seen but always be around, so he's probably hiding in the bushes somewhere waiting for the bellow of his master requiring his expertise
Yianis' face in the top right clingy commoner picture is all smooshed from clinginess! Unhand him or he'll have to charge rent!
Lear's heavier tunic is really expansive and baggy on her, Yianis probably had to stop to see what's really under all that material *eyebrow acrobatics* then make some kind of excuse to excuse his pause
I kind of like the one where she's on her hind paws, it does look as if she's peering over something
I often wonder if butterflies remember being caterpillars or not
Yeah the bottom sketch is like he was all excited and about to make some kind of meaningful leap forward in the relationship as he sees it, but ih look who's there *slinks back into the trees*, the offenseive one. I love how huuuuge the trees are though, they make it seem like the forest is so tall and vast

baggy clothes contain body heat better, and can cover the other layers of clothing. hey now, no looking at a lady without permission! lol i imagined him doing the eyebrow acrobatics from behind her for some reason. what sort of excuse could he make for that?
i don't really like her face in that one... it looks like she's wearing eye shadow.

If you don't like that you'll probably refine them with time. I think nothing's changed with my doodles until I look at old ones. It's kinda encouraging ^^

Usually that happens gradually on its own. It's maaagic. Or actually I don't know. But it works x> I change contrast and stuff in ps and in the scanner program too. But maybe that's not what you mean.
