'Red' days are ones you need to be careful about!
These are not the only ways to pronounce these days, different areas of Japan have different dialects and thus different ways of saying some days. They all /should/ be able to understand these basic ones though c:

"Be careful about" as in they are pronounced differently than you would naturally think. Such as the second day, it's futsuka and not ninichi (ni=2, nichi=day) or the twentieth day, it's hatsuka and not nijuunichi.
