A glimpse on the eating habits of a typical Romanian Three-Tail. Though being nearly exclusive carnivores, due to high energy needs the animals will take anything they can get, including eggs of other animals, carrion bullying, and cannibalistic behavior of young Romanian Three-Tails.Here is a female Three-Tail calmly cleaning up the remains of an egg she has found - consumption of the calcium-rich shell is not uncommon.
