Humanized version of The Fallen and Mikaela Banes from 's Transformers fanfiction, May We Never Let Go.In chapter 25, 26 and 27 of the fanfic, Nemesis Prime captures Mikaela in order to force the Autobots to hand over the Allspark. He tortures and brutally murders the poor girl when the negotiation breaks down. Everyone thinks Mikaela is incinerated, but someone else secretly saves her before the heat of cannon fire reaches her broken body.
Psi (The Fallen) doesn't like Nemesis at all, and he wants to destroy Nemesis by using the Allspark's power as well. That's why Psi decides to save Mikaela's life so he can bring her back to Sam and the Autobots as a peace offer. If everything goes well, he may have the chance to borrow the Allspark's power and get rid of that annoying Nemesis.
The concept of Psi's human form is loosely based on this picture by *ThornQueen . I totally love how she wrote The Fallen in her stories... He's so funny and adorable!
So yeah, I just had to draw something for him...--

Well, these two characters aren't really a couple, but their interaction in this fanfiction is just so funny and cute. The Fallen's character in the fanfic is very different from that old, grouchy bot in the movie. If you want to read something long and good, you can check that author's stories out. She's one of my favorite fanfic authors.

Hey Tanya, I know that you posted this picture way back in September and now it's March... I can only say that I am truly sorry for the long wait on my comment. I did not think it would take this long to get around to it, and I'm honestly ashamed for my tardiness. This picture has been sitting in my inbox for months, watching me with its accusing eyes while I fawn over how much I love it and fret over the lack of time I have had to concentrate on writing the comment it deserves.
Finally, after months of agonizing over the lack of time, I have the time to concentrate on writing a comment worthy of this stunningly haunting masterpiece~ 
Truly, when you first posted this pic, I think my heart stopped. I know you hinted that this picture was coming before you posted it, and like every time you drop a hint like that, I fret and wonder and fantasize for hours over what the picture might be. You know I have a terrible habit of thinking too much, and when it comes to your art, my thoughts go absolutely wild! When you finally posted this... well, like I said, my heart stopped. I was in so much shock, maybe I died for a second or two. All of my wonderings did not do this picture justice!
Even now, seven months later, as I go back to admire this picture and gush over the many details I am in love with, the same stunning feeling of amazement strikes me. Mikaela's broken body breaks my heart when i see it. Psi freaks me out. The way you chose to portray him here... *whistle* There are no words for the brilliance of it.
Every piece of art you post is always a treat for the eyes. It's fair to stay that you are easily one of the top humanized!TF artists on dA. I don't think there is anyone who has a more extensive gallery full of such amazing figures, nor do I think there is anyone quite so energetic about crack pairings as you are. 
You've mentioned in the past that you enjoy dark, angsty stories, and that interest shows through in the amazing quality of your darker-toned fanart pieces.
This picture right here is another fantastic example.
First, I want to talk about Mikaela. Even though I know she isn't dead in the actual story, it still breaks my heart to see her so broken and bloody in this picture. Although I do love a good bloody story, and I tend to be a bit of a sadist when I write, it never ceases to amaze me how you can draw on my heartstrings with your powerful pictures. The poor girl here looks so small. She looks dead. The expression on her face is so sad! Even the way her body is curled up, just like an animal after it's been beaten...
And in contrast to her broken, bloody figure, there's the Fallen holding her! He's just so... so... Frightening! The way you chose to portray him here is intense and fantastic! The picture certainly wouldn't have been the same in you chose to draw him as he normally appeared in my art, as the grey-skinned man. This version is far more visually striking and adds to the darkness, fear, and confusion of that moment.
I adore how you took a vague picture of mine, showing Psi as nothing more than a cloak wrapped around Unicron, and you shaped that idea into something incredible. The corpse-like grey-blue of his hands is disturbing, death-like. Like a Grim Reaper grabbing a victim to drag them into the afterlife- which works with this picture, seeing how the Fallen is holding on to Mikaela rather tightly. The cloak adds to that dark Grim Reaper persona. He's mysterious, a monster underneath, but possibly too frightening for us to behold so he's hidden beneath the dark billowing folds of a voluminous cloak.
The expression, though. The face the peers out from the darkness of the hood truly make this picture a frightening thing to behold. That one glowing amber eye and a mouth full of sharp teeth. *shudders* How you ever took that faces from the drawing I did and transformed it into something that truly makes cold shivers go down my back... You have the magic touch, my friend.
In reading the comments for this picture, I've seen a lot of interesting things. A couple of comments mention that Psi looks a lot like the creature used by a band called Disturbed. I looks it up and it's surprising how similar their faces are! But, may I say, your version of Psi looks way more scary. Although, now that I think about it, there are a couple of songs by that band that psi might actually like listening to...
One of my favourite comments was about an ultimate crack pairing between Mikaela and Psi. I just about died when I read that! XD At first I thought there was absolutely no way that Psi could ever develop feelings for Mikaela, and Mikaela would be smart to keep away from Psi as much as possible. But I've had months to ponder it, and now it doesn't seem so farfetched. Maybe that kind of drama might appear in the story some day. What a messed up pairing that would be! XD
Those silly thoughts aside, I just wanted to finish this comment off with saying how much I adore this picture! Almost as much as I adore you! Words cannot begin to describe how much I love all the art you do. Thank you so much for taking the time to create this amazing masterpiece. I will treasure it forever~

I really, really adored the way you wrote Psi in your recent chapters. He was so evil and cute at the same time. That's why I enjoyed the interactions between Psi and Mikaela so much. Nice job! Now this is making me think of Mikaela/The Fallen as a pairing, which I've never thought of before.
I have to admit that at first glance, I thought that was Random Blitzwing.

As to the Fallen's face... I thought of Random Blitzwing right away when I first saw the concept art done by *ThornQueen . The Fallen described in the fanfic is an adorable crazed creature, so it makes sense that he would look like Random Blitzwing since they're both cute in their unique, crazy way.

Extremely awesome picture... the way his 'body' is enveloping her, he looks so dangerous but you know that he's actually saving her life. It's a great illustration of the moment!

He's doing it for completly selfish reasons, and mostly to save his-and his masters- skin- but I can't help but love him- I think its how she writes his sense of humor...I also was giggling big time becuase my Historical studies are focused on Egypt and when I first read that chapter we were zoned in on death and burial so all the potrayals of the gods were so funny to read.

Another intense image from you, and the atmosphere is just amazing. How you do so, I don't know, but you're amazing at getting so much emotion across through these characters. If this were the robotic form, I doubt it would have such an impact, so I'm glad they're humanised here. I love the dark whisks of the brush, it creates this 'death' [Grim Reaper] feel.

The Fallen is meant to look freaky because he would cry if anyone thinks he looks adorable. Oh well, his character depicted in the fanfic is still pretty cute and adorable in his own unique way, but he would still prefer having a not-so-human freaky look here. He's evil like that.
