"We had a little accident here. Don't worry, I'll be there shortly."
Humanized version of Moonracer (G1) and Perceptor (IDW).
I'm working on a story featuring these two, and I'm having a very bad case of writer's block. So I decided to draw something to distract myself.
And no, this scenario has nothing to do with my story. I just wanted to draw a scene like "Somebody blew up the laboratory again and almost ruined Moonracer and Perceptor's date." Because I wanted to, that's why.

I always think Wheeljack might be a deadly force in his particular way. You know, the Autobots could send him to the Decepticons' base and let him destroy everything there. It seems everything he touches will explodeΒ spontaneously.

Another Percy/Moonie piece!!! Β Which not only means more goodness for the Group, it also means more stock images for Penumbra chapters here on DA. Β (Or at least until I get a drawing pad, which may be never.... D: )
Anyway....
Hehe, I love the lightheartedness of this one. It's a universe where all is (mostly) well, and the biggest worry of these two...

Wheeljack, IF this is your fault, please get someone else to install some protective walls around your stuff.
Honestly, I'd laugh if this was Percy's fault. Β At least Moonracer will be forgiving.

Lol, you're right. Moonracer will freak out at his bloody arm when they meet. And she might never let her dear scientist step into that lab again unless Wheeljack gets his own lab. But we all know how powerful Wheeljack's explosions are. He can actually blow up the whole base if he doesn't pay enough attention to his dangerous experiments.
I just love this couple so much, so I tend to draw them a lot when I have some spare time to doodle on my notebook. And I just finished another Percy/Moonie artwork several days ago. The theme is much more darker, though. I'm really a sadist when it comes to the characters/pairings I love...

And Wheeljack is a genius when it comes to explosions. He could make ANYTHING blow up. He should be the weapons specialist because he can turn any normal thing into a deadly bomb!

Looks like Wheeljack blew up the lab again... I like how nonchalant they are about it, like they are so used to it by now that it's nothing to stop a date for! Of course, it's as the title says...Just another normal day.

Oh my, this is adorable~ I love pictures that show a slice of life. These characters are always at war, they are always tense, fighting, and never have any down time. It is such a change to see them happy and interacting with each other on a normal, everyday, non-life-threatening sort of way.
Moonracer looks so happy-go-lucky and pretty! Like a model for summer clothes. Perceptor is lucky to have snatched up such a pretty prize!
As for Perceptor, he's supposed to be a genius. Shouldn't he have been smarter than to let Wheeljack touch anything in the labs? XD I respect Wheeljack for his abilities, but that guy is hilariously horrible with everything he touches. Perceptor should have known better. XD

Lol, we all need to see some good things to brighten our days, right? Too much angst could be suffocating, and this world surely needs some more happier stuff.
And I don't think anyone could stop Wheeljack from touching those trivial things and turn them into deadly bombs. He's a scientist and an engineer, after all. It would be kind of cruel if the Autobots ban him from entering the labs. So Wheeljack's co-workers just need to be more cautious to ensure their own safety.

Banning Wheeljack from doing what he loves to do is probably the most cruel thing anyone could do to him. It would be like banning Ironhide from his cannons, banning Prowl from his logic! Some things cannot be separated!

Beautiful picture, as always, and a rather amusing storyline too. And writer's block should subside; perhaps having another story on the go; purely for fun. If you get writers block on one, write a bit of another and vice versa.
