A Dramione fanart inspired by this amazing Harry Potter video.
The characters in the two panels above are:
- Draco Malfoy & Bellatrix Lestrange
- Hermione Granger
So this is a different version of the Malfoy Manor scene from HP7. Your evil aunt just caught your Muggle-born girlfriend, and she expects you to use the Unforgivable Curses on the poor girl because every Mudblood in this world deserves to die. Sucks to be born in a family full of crazy pure-blood wizards and witches, doesn't it?
I haven't seen the first HP7 movie yet, so I drew these characters based on the books and the previous six movies. Jeez, I really should go rent the DVD and watch it before Part 2 comes out in theaters this summer...

Hmm. How odd. I had thought I had commented on this... Puzzling... But not so much. I do get scattered on things like commenting and faving sometimes. Especially when I'm distracted.
Well now I'm not distracted and I was poking around and came across this again... You know I never tire of your work, right? You always bring such life to even the simplest detail that it just makes me envy and love you and your hard work.
Although I am not a Dramione heavy shipper - I ship SSHG/Sevmione/Snager/HermSnap aka whatever you wanna call it - I do have a soft spot for the pairing if done well and interesting enough (Course that can be said about any couple I like lol) and I find this to be amazing. And the video you linked is amazing! I have a weakness for well done crack!ship videos.

Oh Sevmione was something I just started shipping after reading the second book, but fully jumped on when I saw the third movie. The scene where Remus is in werewolf form and slashes at Snape just kinda clicked in my brain that "Holy crap this could work" and wala! There it is for me. But as you and I agree, a good crack!video can go a long way. For my top four for Severus/Hermione, it would be these:

It seems that you're getting into the whole Harry Potter fandom huh? I feel like I need to go watch the whole series again now. I must admit that the expressions here are absolutely stunning. You can really feel Hermione's distress as she wonders if her boyfriend will her boyfriend will really hurt her. Draco looks terribly conflicted as he juggles his morals while his aunt whispers into his ear. Your art is no less stunning despite how long it's been and I look forward to seeing more HP art from you soon. I've always liked the Dramione pairing for some reason but I think it's partially because I can't seem to get used to the Ron/Mione pairing.

Lol, yeah, I fell in love with the HP series again thanks to some awesome fanfictions on FF. A wonderfully thought and written fanfic can easily reignite your interest toward a particular fandom.
As to the pairing, I don't mind Ron/Hermione at all since they're canon in Rowling's books and they actually look quite lovely together, but Dramione seems more interesting to me due to the typical love-and-hate relationship and the opposite attract thing. Guess it also has something to do with my weird crack pairing fetish...
