Description
A midsized basal member of the Long-Necked Goliath family tree that lived during the early Jurassic, Therizinonychus was a permanent biped, measuring 20 feet long and standing almost 13 feet tall. Supported by its strong hind legs and long tail, this South American herbivore fed by pulling down greenery with its long arms, using its sharp claws to peel away bark from trees, cut down vegetation, and ward off would-be predators. Ultimately, it was driven to extinction with the advent of the True Tyrants' evolution and competition from more derived Long-Necked Goliaths.I'm continuing this challenge. This guy's based on prosauropods, particularly the early theory that Therizinosaurus was one.
