Description
After falling in love with the Crimson Skies universe, I designed this fantasy pusher-puller fighter plane. I'm in the very slow process of designing a working flyable RC model of this aircraft. Some of the proportions have stretched out a bit to improve its flight characteristics, but this pic captures the design in a nutshell ^_~The idea is to use the aircraft I design as canvas for my warkitties!

Hi, just found your design and may I say it's a beaut! Really looks like it belongs in the CS universe. Sleek, agile, fast. I can see the resemblance to the Do-335 Pfeil, but the low slung aft placed wings are gorgeous.
I'm also really interested to see if you can make a flying model out of it. Those canard wings are supposed to be a [slang description of a female dog] to balance a plane. I never saw them on an RC plane, so I'm curious how it'll work out.
Did you know that Dreamworks had bought the movie rights of Crimson Skies? Although, that was in 2001, so I guess they never intended an actual movie, or they'd have done it by now.
Oh yeah, almost forgot to ask. I can't really make out the nose art. What is it?

One of these years I'm going to learn how to edit my responses, but until then, I meant to say "existing designs of some of the best aircraft MAKERS in the world"! And I do mean designs only. Many of these designs (which can be found at [link] ) never made it off the paper

Thanks guys! Believe it or not, a good number of the original CS planes were actually based on the existing designs of some of the best aircraft in the world, even if just a little whacky 
As for the stats, beyond the obvious, I would have had a large and nasty cannon firing through the front spinner. While the engines do look a little "radial-ish", they are in fact liquid cooled V- (or maybe even X-?) engines fitted with anular radiators. Top speed can only be guessed at, but the layout being based as it is on the Dornier 335 Pfiel, it would have been pretty damned fast.
Would also be very maneuverable (ie: radically unstable and likely lethal) in the pitch axis due to the tiny uh... nose-moment of the canards! We've made a couple of attempts at making a flying models, and I think I need to do some redesigning
As for having this plane in the game, it seems that no one other than our dearly departed FASA had any interest in the franchise
