Just a random sword I have yet to name,It's kind of techno, possibly a lightning producing weapon... meh,
I'm running low on ideas...

depends on the detail, and also how it works out,
if a design just doesn't seem to go well, it can take days or weeks.

Getting an FFXIII feel from it; nicely done.
If you're running low on inspiration, just browse around the webernets and maybe watch movies and play games. Looking at other art helps too. Sites like Kotaku are nice for inspiration because they show a lot of different games and art styles therein. Not to mention art sites themselves.

Cool! You know I've recently been working on some random RPG-esque character and I've been looking at screenshots from the game Aion as inspiration...I think they have the most beautifully-designed characters, armour and weapons too. Very elaborate and detailed like this
It also remind sme of Final Fantasy X too
