So Fear has discovered some of his powers in the last chapter. He still has a lot t learn. He put Anger in his place after years of abuse. The name of this chapter is I Walk To My Own Song. It is inspired by the Stratovarius song that fits Fear so well after finally getting out of Anger's shadow.youtu.be/lAiVnlE8-E0
So what do you guys think will happen in Chapter 2? All I'll say is we are still in Headquarters and it should be a shorter chapter. I hope.
I can't believe how this turned out. I'm thrilled with this cover. Done in one day from sketch to final product. It's a fusion of the two Stratovarious albums Elements 1 and 2. It's a fusion of both albums for something unique. Neither album had lightning so that's neat. I couldn't quite figure out how to get fire in here to cover all the bases but I think it's fine without it. It's not one of Fear's preferred powers anyway and you can imagine why.
I hate drawing water.

Asi que Miedo ha descubierto algunos sus poderes en el ultimo capitulo. Todavia le falta much que aprender. Puso a Furia en su puesto despues de años de abuso. El nombre de este capitulo es I Walk To My Own Song. Inspirado por esa cancion de Stratovarius. Las letras le dan perfecto a como ya no deja que la Furia lo controla.

No puedo creer que bien me salio esto. Me encana. Terminado en un dia. Es una mescla de los albums de Stratovarious Elements 1 y 2. Ningun album tiene relampagos asi que eso es original. Lo unico es que no pude meter fuego pero esta bien sin el. De todos modos no es un poder que le interesa much a Miedo. Y es imaginan porque.

Thank you. After linking to those albums I'm glad you can see how the "elements" fit into my art from all three. I realized one day while listening to this how perfect this fits Fear in this story. I love the mention of "Mr. Mean" as that's Anger and I must have him call him that in the comic at one point as another tribute to the band and song. These lines seem to be written exactly for Anger.
You think you know what is better for me
Holding me lectures of how I should be
Shrugging my shoulders I leave you behind
Anyway I look at it you are blind
Because this is what Anger used to do to him. He told him what to do and if he didn't like it Anger beat him up. No more. Fear is now free at last. Something I can relate to also from past experiences. Fear is very much like myself. Like RollerTroller699 once said to me, It's a wonderful thing once you unlock yourself. Aw thanks.

This is really cool! I like how you combined all of the album covers so well. The stormy sky, swirling leaves, and lightning give this a really powerful and ominous feeling. Good for Fear that he's embracing his power! The water looks quite neat as well. Perfect way to start a new chapter!

Why is it horrible? Fear is finally discovering who he is. He's put a stop to the years of abuse from Anger. And now he will be better and more powerful for it. It's for the better.

I really like the leaves effect and the lightning in the sky. I also like how Fear has a very powerful look as it seems like he's in control of the leaves

Yeah, i think that it´s good that he smile.....someone when smile is very good and best is when someone laught,because when you are happy or laught you forgot on your own trouble and difficulties and you try think on something good or funny.

A perfect combination of the three covers I have to say. I especially like the leaves to be honest as they turn to their bright and variant autumn colors, while Fear is standing on the water to show of his powers. Which he also does by holding an orb of lightning above his head, which is probably better than fire anyway as it can not just burn, but also paralyze. And if you know how also revive the dead, which I however would not recommend as the result might kill a few people afterwards. Background-wise a storm coming closer fits the general combination you did with electricity, leaves whirling aroung him, and the dark vibe it has. As a result you get something truly fitting for Scary Fear.

Thank you. The leaves are my fave too. You get a sense of them really swirling. Lightning is better as that's his built in power he can use whether people are scared or not. The clouds and sky were the easiest part of the background for this. I think it does fit him well.

I like the rippling water you did here, it's not so bad, PS had great effects to help out if you don't like drawing water. The swirling leaves are great too, like being driven from his power output.

Well a major scene ends and the next page the mood is completely different. So I think that qualifies as a new chapter. I think chapter 2 will also be around 7 pages. A bit more perhaps. It's not about length but events and quality. Some chapters might be much longer. I'm glad you liked it.
I used a bunch off different effects and combinations for this. Ha I messed up so many times I'm not sure I could recreate this. I don't remember what steps I kept and what I tossed. I love the leaves too. He's definitely controlling the wind.

It does seem like a lot of stuff went into it. Reminds me of the experiments I did to test effects when I got PS, only this is much cleaner and decent

What a powerful, inspiring song, something we should all live by! Yeah, Fear is free from his oppressors- Anger and his old self! He's free, at peace, and finally knows his destiny. Nobody can get him down anymore, because he knows he's better than that! And that knowledge has made him stronger, in more ways than one.
I immediately noticed how you took inspiration from the Dreamchaser album, and excellent job at fusing the other two albums as well. It's such a striking, powerful image of how Fear is his own master. And I LOVE how you drew the water. I love how the darkening of the storm clouds are reflected on it in the distance, as well as the shadow effects on the water from his cloak, and his incredible lighting up the sky. It's all so majestic, and the swirling leaves around him are so gorgeous, like they're hailing in his awe-inspiring entrance/rebirth.

I love inspirational power metal. And Strato is one of the most positive bands out there with many themes like this one. As my friend RollerTroller said Fear has unlocked himself. His true potential is finally out so he would be happy and at peace with discovering himself.
Yes I like that cloak and I may have to use it on him just like his wings form time to time. Perhaps one day I'll draw him fully cloaked in it as I see it covering him like an oil. No hood though. The point is to frighten others with his scary look. Thanks. I do like the water too though it was hard and still not quite what I would have liked. I think the reflections in the water are what really made this work. The leaves are my fave thing about this. This show he can take on any power. It just depends on his victim.

Me encanta!!! Es diferente de los otros dibujos de Miedo Aterrador. Mi horóscopo es cáncer que es el signo del agua y de la luna. Por lo que me gusta que Fear esté sobre el agua. Concuerda con su carácter frío y tranquilo. Y el haber dibujado sus piernas como un calamar (me recuerda a Úrsula de la Sirenita) le da un toque malvado. Dices que odias dibujar el agua pero el resultado es perfecto. Me gusta como te ha quedado. Tengo que oir el álbum de Stradivarius.
