I love the red lips painted on the "face" of her mecha, and the little Quadrono V on the shoulder armor (pauldron, plastron?) The fact that she is wearing a string bikini the same color as her mech is a nice touch.

Thanks Thire! I was surprised at the reaction I got on the lipstick! It was meant to be a reflection of Miriya since her lips are so pink in the series. They are like her calling card.

This is very cool. About the only thing that doesn't look right to me is that there are too many different colors on the robots. But other than that, I dig the perspective, the robots, the blurred out background and lights, it's very well done. Lovin' this piece!

Thanks Krateworx, I appreciate the commentary and constructive crit...I'll assume from you use of the term robots you aren't as familiar with the subject matter. The two "mecha" are actually canon versions of the VF-1 the Red being Miriya's machine, and the dark blue being a "dark Bird". The DB is an obscure scheme that has become somethin of a fascination with RT and Macross fans. The Armor on the Red Mecha is considered standard, while the Dark Bird's Armor is a little known but yet pre-existing scheme that can be found in art books. I just like to see some of the same ole stuff done a little differently from time to time.

Thanks! Mixed reviews on that so far...But it was fun. I think if I were to have to make a decision on how to draw her VF-1J in a serial format I might leave those off...hard to say.
