Description
This is a fanart pic of Haruko from FLCL vol. 1 manga page 50. I'm going to do a finished sketch in Photoshop using the Pen Tool and using tones just like in the manga. I've never tried tones, I'm so excited!!!

Oh yeah, this is a pencil sketch by the way, done on 9*12 paper, but I scanned it in at 9*9. My scanner only goes to the width 8.5 so a little bit got cut off. This drawing was done with my newest mechanical pencil, a Zebra M-301 .5 mm mechanical pencil. So far, I think it's my favorite, even though I would prefer if the grip was rubber instead of plastic, but oh well. The body is made of some sort of metal. So it's the least likely to break, but also when you do the "click" thing to push the lead out of the tip, it is the most "responsive." I can't really explain, but I like how it feels.
