This is my finished scrap 'Lucian from Lunar Knights,' and like it says, this is a drawing of Lucian, for the video games "Lunar Knights" for the Nintendo DS. It's a sequel to the game "Boktai: The Sun is In Your Hands." It's not even out yet, but it looks great!The line art was done via mechanical pencil, and outlined with Pigma Micron archival ink pens. Everything else was done on the computer using Photoshop CS2.
This may be my first revision; I think I want to redo this work someday when I can better perfect my Photoshop techniques. Until then, I hope your satisfied with what I've created!
****For the first time, EVERY SINGLE drawing of mine you see has NOT been traced (including this work). I'm not sure whether I should be insulted or flattered. I think tracing an image (that is not mine) is the easy way out of doing line art. You can check out my scraps section, where you can find most of the pencil sketches, and some inked sketches. If you look closely, you can easily tell EVERY ONE has been scanned in.
I scanned in the sketch at 600 DPI, and edited the colored sketch with a resolution of 4208 x 4522 (still at 600 DPI). Man, the file is so big, it takes a long time to load.

Lunar Knights, and the Boktai series in general, are horribly underrated, so I'm really glad to see someone create artwork of this quality about it.

Sadly, no, I haven't heard of another game in the series...though supposedly there's a Boktai reference in Metal Gear Solid 4, so perhaps Konami isn't ready to forget about the series just yet.

Sweet,I love Lunar Knights!This may sound a bit obsesive,but I just beat the game for the 27 time.............I swear I'm not obsessed though,the game just plays fast.............

I still haven't played that game!!
First of all, my DS L and R buttons are broken from use, do you need those buttons to play the game?
Otherwise I'll have to buy a new DS.

I've played through RE4 at least 11 times, that's the most I've ever played through a single game; I haven't played through any other game more than twice, as far as I can remember. Maybe this will be the one.

Even though you traced it from the official art from E3, it's a good re-rendering of color. The lineart could use some stability though.

If you compare this picture, and the picture at the following link: [link] you can clearly see that I did NOT trace the image. It fool you to thinking it's traced, because I captured the essence of Lucian; BUT it's not a traced image.

I drew that while looking at a magazine picture. That is not "digital ink." If you look closely you can see smudges from the pencil.

Well, you used it as a base.
Usually, handdrawn lines have more stability than digital lines. If you have so much pencil smudges on it, use another layer to redo the lines.
